advent calendar. day eight. rudolph the red nosed reindeer.

Note, not just ANY reindeer but specifically a red-nosed one. It couldn't be anything but when I found this adorable pattern for a happy little red-nosed reindeer.

The pattern was pretty easy ONCE i realised that it was from Australia and so a double crochet is actually a US single crochet - helped make those antlers a little more, well, antlerish! I used size three needles, this yarn for the reindeer, this for the nose and this for the antlers.

And so, at day 8 our advent calendar is starting to look very Christmassy:
